Heron Cottage provides self catering holiday accommodation at 560 Heron Loop, Chintsa East, Amathole Coastal, 5275, South Africa. We do not sell or ship physical goods. Delivery of our service means providing the accommodation for the dates confirmed in your booking.
Booking requests and availability
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not confirm a booking. Once we receive your request, we check availability and send you a quotation if your requested dates are available.
Dates are provisionally held for 24 hours from the availability confirmation, subject to the payment deadline communicated to you.
Payment and booking confirmation
A 50% deposit is required within the 24 hour hold period to confirm your booking and reserve your dates on our calendar. The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days before arrival. For bookings made within 14 days of arrival, full payment is required to confirm the booking.
Once the required payment has been received and verified, we send your booking confirmation and welcome information by email. Please provide a correct email address and contact number when submitting your enquiry.
If payment is not received by the stated deadline, the provisional hold expires and the dates may be made available to other guests.
Receiving your guest information
Your welcome email provides the cottage address, directions, contact details and guest information to help you prepare for your stay.
If you have made payment but have not received your confirmation, please check your spam or junk folder and contact Jana Hiles using the details below.
Arrival and access
Check in is between 3 pm and 8 pm on your confirmed arrival date. Please contact Jana before arrival to provide your expected arrival time and coordinate access to the cottage.
Checkout is by 10 am on your confirmed departure date. Any request to arrive outside the stated check in hours must be agreed with the host in advance.
